We are in the fire safety training and fire risk assessment business. Most visitors to this site will have a basic understanding of the concept of fire safety training, even if they have never received any themselves.
Fire risk assessment however is a different matter, in short it is evaluating the risk from fire in a commercial premise, implementing measures to reduce or eliminate it, how to deal with it should it occur and procedures to
prevent it starting at all.
We were formed specifically to provide a service to the smaller business owner following changes to fire regulations throughout the U.K.
These regulations altered the way fire safety is
monitored and controlled, as a result the business owner now has to assume a more proactive role in keeping the business compliant
with the current law.
As a consequence all business owners need to obtain expert advice and guidance on these matters, and not surprisingly many companies were created to satisfy this new market.
We have the same professional expertise and experience to provide the same high standard of service, however our target is slightly
different.
As with most of our competitors we could provide the 5 star service along with the 5 star rates of fees, but we have choosen to offer a 5 star service with a 1 star rate of fees.
Why we have decided upon this business model is to attract the small business owner who is required by law to implement the new regulations but potentially is less able to obtain the necessary services than the larger companies due to the economic downturn.
With some of our competitors charging £1,000. for an assessment of the smallest premises, and quoting a minimum of £50 per person for employee fire safety training a more cost effective solution is necessary.
